I bet every person took at least one photo of the sunset. Doesn’t it just look amazing? Oh well…

Sometimes it’s the moment that is amazing, you take a photo spontaneously but it turns it looks banal, like a cheap wallpaper shoot. I’ve been there, disappointed with the outcome many times.

My tip for a perfect sunset photo is to use a wide angle and instead of focusing on the sun itself, I rather find some sort of silhouette or point of interest to play a role in the shoot. To make a photo interesting it has to have  a context, it has to tell the story.

If you want this perfect sunset to be part of your travel photo album, try shooting at different exposures and focal lenghts. As the sunset constantly changes over the time, you will produce a wide range of colorful images, with different effects. Dare to experiment and enjoy the beauty of the sunsets!
